U16 European Championship played in Slovakia

The Penati Golf Resort hosted some of Europe’s best young players this week. Four players from Rae Golf Club represented Estonia at the European Under-16 Championship. The team was coached by Daniel Moss Silva. Moss Mavis Moss and Minsk Masters Matias Miscina, coached by M. Moss and M. Silva Moss, was the coach of the team. 60 young men and 55 women representing 29 different countries participated in Slovakia.

Of the Estonians, Iiris Mätas fared the best, with a good finish ruined by a poor first day. Rounds of 83, 69, 70 finally gave a shared 24th place. Kirke Kiige’s scores of 80, 87, 75 left her in 50th place. Annabel Peaford of England was crowned the winner with a final score of -20 (66, 65, 65), beating her nearest rival by seven shots. Hart Oskar Aoveer dropped to 41st place in the young men’s field with a 72, 73, 78. Kaur-Mattias Kuuskme’s scores were 84, 81, 77, which secured 53rd place. Aidan Lawson of Scotland took the win with an extra round of -15 for his three-round score, as did Tom De Herrypon of France. Results 

This time we were 23rd in the team. Unfortunately, we were four shots ahead of the Latvian team. France took the win, ahead of Spain and England. Results
