Spain celebrates again in Sweden
The wonderful summer of Spanish golf continued in Sweden where, today, the best players of the ladies’ European Individual Championships were awarded. Spanish players achieved a double victory. Julia López Ramírez, who achieved three birdies at the last three holes, secured the first place with the result of −8 (70, 76, 63, 67), that is, with two strokes less than her fellow Spanish player Carla Bernat Escuder. Ingrid Lindblad, player number one of world’s amateur golf, could not cheer up her home crowd and do better than a par on the last day, falling to third place. Results
Elizaveta Sofia Reemet (Estonian Golf & Country Club) who represented Estonia finished with the result of +22 (76, 82, 77) and tied for the 126th place among 144 players. The cut line was +10 this year.
