The winners of the three-day Estonian Match Play Open by Bauroc were Ralf Johan Kivi (Niitvälja Golfiklubi) in the men’s category and Anete Liis Adul (Estonian Golf & Country Club) in the women’s category.

For Kivi from Saaremaa, it was the first individual gold medal in the Estonian Adult Championships. In the final he had to defeat Ken-Marten Soo (Estonian Tour Players Club) in extra time. Kivi had a good chance to win on the 18th hole, but unfortunately his birdie putt spun out of the hole. In the morning semi-final he also had to defeat title contender Richard Teder (Estonian Golf & Country Club), who eventually finished fourth as he lost the bronze medal match to Carl Hellat (Niitvälja Golfiklubi) with a score of 2&1. Kivi still has last year’s bronze medal to his credit. Soo did the same in 2020. Hellat now has his first bronze, in addition to three golds (2017, 2018, 2021). Teder has one gold (2023) and two bronze (2019, 2022). Results

In the women’s final, Anete Liis Adul beat teammate Triin Marleen Ustal (Rae Golfiklubi) 3&2. For Adul, it was the fourth gold medal (2016, 2020, 2021, 2024), in addition to three silvers (2019, 2022, 2023). For Ustal, from Saaremaa, it was his first silver medal, along with a bronze (2021). The bronze was also won by a player from Saaremaa. Karola Soe (Estonian Tour Players Club) defeated Kadi Riin Vähejausi 4&3. For Soe it was the second bronze, the earlier one was from 2022.Results

Soo led by at least one from the seventh hole and the final score was 2&1 for victory. In the bronze medal match, there was no excitement. Tarmo Kivi’s (Rae Golfiklubi) victory over Rain Uusküla (Estonian Golf & Country Club) was scored 6&5. For Kivi it was his third bronze, all coming after a two-year gap. Kivi and Uusküla finished 12th and 14th respectively after the stroke play portion of the event, so anything can happen in the course play. Results
