EGA sets up fund to support Ukraine’s best golfers

The European Golf Association has decided on assisting Ukrainian golfers to participate in international competitions outside Ukraine organised by the EGA, IGF or EGA members.

In order to assist Ukrainian golfers, the EGA has set up a fund in agreement with the Ukrainian Golf Federation (UGF) (the UGF Fund) and invites all those wishing to help Ukrainian talented golfers to re-enter international competitions as soon as possible to donate to the UGF Fund. The UGF Fund will be used to cover the expenses of Ukrainian golfers outside Ukraine. It covers the accommodation and catering costs of teams, individual players or staff. Also entry fees and team fees.

Competitions in which Ukraine has always participated, such as the World Team Championships, the European Men’s and Women’s Team Championships, as well as the European Youth, Men’s and Women’s Individual Championships, as well as amateur, women’s, boys’ and girls’ competitions organised by EGA members, will be supported by the Fund this year.
