Best of the 2024 season: Teder & Adul
The member clubs of the Estonian Golf Association chose Richard Teder as the best golfer in the men’s category and Anete Liis Aduli as the best female golfer in 2024. Both are members of Estonian Golf & Country Club.
Richard Teder was voted best adult golfer of the year for the second year running. Richard was the Estonian stroke play champion and also came first in the Latvian Amateur Open. He finished 2nd in the Estonian Amateur Open and 3rd in the Estonian Match Play Open. In addition, he participated in the Portuguese International Amateur Championship, where he also achieved 3rd place. Richard was part of the Estonian Men’s team at the European Team Championships, where they returned with a strong 4th place. He continues to hold the highest WAGR ranking in history, placing 84th in the world amateur golf rankings. Richard was voted the best by all the member clubs who voted.
Anete Liis Adul was named best of the year for the fourth time. Adul won the first place in the Estonian Match Play Open, the Niitvälja Karikas and also won the title of Estonian stroke play champion. Anete Liis represented Estonia at the European Women’s Championship, where unfortunately she did not make the cut but finished 118th. Adul remains the highest ranked Estonian woman in the WAGR ranking at 462. Anete Liisi was voted the best by all the member clubs that voted.
Hart Oskar Aoveer from Rae Golf Club and Elizaveta Sofia Reemet from Estonian Golf & Country Club were voted the best young players. Martin Järve and Getter Saaroja of Rae Golf Club were voted the best mid-amateurs. In the Seniors 50+ class, Kaupo Pastak from Saaremaa Golf & Country Club and Anneli Esken from Estonian Golf & Country Club were the best. In the older seniors class (60+) Toomas Tamme (Tartu Golf Club) and Laura Kämäräinen (Tarinagolf).
