Baltic Champions Cup

The Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian federations decided at the winter meeting that this fall the first Baltic Champions Cup golf competition will be held, where there will be 12 golfers from each country.

The competition will be held this year at Pärnu Bay on September 15th.

National teams are formed from the best national championships:

  • 2 best men – Estonian Championship
  • 2 best women – Estonian Championship
  • 1 man – Winner of Mid-Amateur Championship
  • 1 woman – Winner of Mid-Amateur Championship
  • 1 man – (50+) Winner of the Championship
  • 1 woman – (50+) Winner of the Championship
  • 1 man – (60+) Winner of Senior Championship
  • 1 woman – (60+) Winner of Senior Championship
  • 1 young man – (U18) Winner of Junior Championship
  • 1 young woman – (U18) Winner of Junior Championship

The format is match play and is played against two opponents at a time. The winner’s team will have the traveling trophy.

The next competition on Estonian soil will be held in 2022. Meanwhile, the competition is hosted by Latvia and Lithuania.
